Our vision is to be a church community of love, worship and service making a positive impact in this world. We provide a haven for our neighbors to come and grow in their personal faith in God and realize the overwhelming love He has for each and everyone – no exceptions. Our mission includes being the the healing hands of Jesus reaching into our community and the world focused on bringing aid and relief to the hurting.

We welcome you to Community United Methodist Church of Pacific Palisades. We are here to serve you! We provide programs for all ages. There are many opportunities for you to participate in worship, classes, and fellowship activities. We also hope you will be excited about all the children’s, youth, and family activities in which your family can be involved. If you have younger children, we have after school mid-week children’s activities, which include fun and exciting programs of Bible stories, games, crafts, and snacks for ages 4 through 5th graders. We also have a highly recognized preschool for ages 2 years 6 months through 5 years.

Please join us for Sunday morning worship at 10 am, which is the highlight of our week together. As a congregation, we are able to enjoy a service of both contemporary and traditional music and of Scripture, prayer, and the spoken word. During our 10 am service we provide childcare for infants and Sunday School for kids of all ages.

Today, a truly vibrant Church is one that is open and progressive on one hand but eternally respectful of its history and traditions on the other. As our world changes it is often required that we adapt and respond to this change. Our Biblical foundation is forever constant but to better serve as Disciples of Christ we find new ways of expressing His message in keeping current with our culture.

In looking forward, we envision a vigorous, prayerful, growing and robust church environment rich in spiritually and grounded in the commitment to God’s calling. Jesus Christ serves as the best example for us to follow. He sought a new direction from the unyielding religious practices of His day and set about changing the world forever. In this tradition we seek to proclaim His timeless message in a presentation that is inviting and stimulating for today’s world. Our charge is to reach out to the hearts, minds and souls of our community with passionate fervor, harvesting the fruit of Christ’s teachings at every opportunity.
